Reepsville Baptist Church is committed to missions.  We believe that all members are ministers and that each member possess unique talents used for the ministry of spreading the gospel.  We also have several dedicated volunteers that serve in various capacities and travel both abroad and to various areas within the United States.  All of whom provide an atmosphere that leads first to salvation and then concentrates on spiritual growth as they continue to walk with God in spreading the gospel and helping others.  Our missions group includes the following:

Women's Missionary Union (WMU)

Our WMU is involved in praying for and supporting missionaries here at home and around the world.  WMU is also involved in local missions right here in the county.

Brotherhood

The Brotherhood group here at Reepsville are involved in local missions; everything from building ramps, and roofing to most minor home repairs for shut-in residents.  In the past, the men of the Brotherhood have taken Mission Trips to eastern North Carolina as well as other parts of the state.

Local Community Outreach

The members of Reepsville Baptist are committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to our own community.  Several times a year year we go out into the community sharing the gospel, praying for the families we meet, and inviting them to come see what God is doing at Reepsville.

Missionaries
We have been blessed with two active Missionaries within our own church.  Ed & Helen Helms, have spent 6 months out of the year for the past 4 years in North Bennington, VT coordinating the rebuild project on the "Old Stone Church" which will be the new home of Capstone Baptist Church.

Volunteers in Missions (VIM)
Our Volunteers in Missions (VIM) have been active for many years.  Each year in July, they take part in a week long mission trip.  For the past three years our VIM group has joined Ed & Helen Helms in Vermont to work on the church building and minister in the community of North Bennington through prayer walks, witnessing, and nursing home ministry.  Our VIM volunteers raise funds for building supplies for the trip throughout the year.
